| The overnight forecast on April 24
was for 2"– 4" but the low pressure area stalled to the east of the front range and sent a stream of moisture
over us that produced over of 24" of snow by evening with more forecast.

But the snow gods were not done with us as another low pressure system set-up east of the front range on Sunday, May 6, 2007.
Overnight, we received another 19" of wet snow, but made the weather newscast again.

We were returning home from attending a mission at our parish when Jacquie pointed out this beautiful
sunset over my left shoulder. We pulled over to enjoy, and at her suggestion I took this photo and submitted it to KKTV Channel
11 in Colorado Springs.

The newscaster, Brian Bredsoe, introduced this photo as "...really spectular photo..."
And it provided a nice ending to a great evening.
