New Mexico, Texas, Arizona,
Utah, & Colorado
September & October 2003

Initial Our trip began heading southward to Santa Fe to meet up with Jacquie's brother and sister-in-law. After a wonderful three days of touring, shopping, and dining with them, we headed east to Dallas to have a week-long visit with the kids and the grandkids-—always a great time. Then we made a long trek across the Texas Panhandle, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah to Mesa Verde National Park in the Four Corners and then onto Zion and Arches National Parks in Utah.

We also had a memorable overnight stop in Page, Arizona, to visit the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell. It was memorable because as we inquired about the next available tour, we were asked if we could leave immediately. We quickly agreed that we could and were treated to a virtually private tour with just one other couple. The guide was most interesting and enthusiastic
